Total scholarship amount: $5,000

To determine the tax implications and impact on other financial aid you are receiving should you be awarded this grant, please check with your financial aid office for more information.

In the event that you are chosen as the recipient of this scholarship grant, we will request that you forward a copy of your completed dissertation when you have finished your work. We also will be sending you a form to complete in August of every year until you have completed your dissertation. This form will request a short update on your research.

Grants may be taxable income to recipients under certain circumstances.

You may wish to consult with your tax advisor or review the regulations issued by the Internal Revenue Service to evaluate the taxability of this grant given your specific situation.
