Matching Gift Programs

You might be able to make your donation to Elderhostel go farther! Many companies encourage employees to donate to their favorite charities by matching their contributions, sometimes dollar-for-dollar or more. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

Elderhostel is very grateful the companies for who matched gifts in 2008. Take a look at

If you don’t see your employer on this list, please contact your human resources department to see if you can establish a matching gifts program with the Elderhostel. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest.

How Do I Apply for a Matching Gift?

• Obtain a matching gift form and program guidelines from your human resources office.

• Fill in the employee section of the form and send it to Elderhostel along with your donation or, if you've made your contribution online, simply complete the form and mail it to:

We will complete the form and forward it to your employer's matching gifts office for processing. The company will send its matching donation directly to the Elderhostel.

Combined Federal Campaign

If you are a current or retired U.S. Government employee, including those serving in the armed forces, you can give to Elderhostel through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Elderhostel’s designation number is 12355. Please look for more information in your CFC Handbook or contact your human resources department.
